I was really delighted to get to work with Dr Catherine Purcell and her team at Cardiff University on this illustrated A1 poster for ATLAS – Wales Active Travel Research Consortium.
Working with their 7 key pieces of information, I created a detailed scene visualising each of the points, with active travel infrastructure that naturally leads the viewer through the piece.
I devised a colour scheme based on the ATLAS logo, and incorporated lots of hand-drawn texture for a whimsical and friendly feel that looks great small as well as printed at the full A1 size.
This was truly a pleasure to work on!
