The ginkgo biloba tree with its beautiful and distinctive leaves can live for thousands of years. As such, in some traditional cultures it has come to represent longevity, endurace, and – resilience – the subject of this little illustration.
Both my hometown of Cambridge, UK and my favourite city Granada, Spain have streets lined with these amazing trees! I’ve always loved them.
